The Components of a Customized Solution
Accountability Performance System (APS):
- A self-directed but structured process which guides the Learner.
- Employees (Learners) and their Managers participate in the process
- Managers or Trainers may act as the Learning Facilitators or your company may elect to utilize our professional Learning Facilitators.
- Management will have access to periodic progress reports throughout the learning experience
- Accelerated Learning Guide (ALG) – Paper or Online
- A comprehensive written/online guide which serves as the “road map” for the learning experience.
- Checkpoints
- The Accelerated Learning Guide organizes the subject matter into a series of Checkpoints.
- Within each Checkpoint, there are assignments and activities for the Learner to complete.
- Checkpoint Meetings
- There are periodic, pre-scheduled Checkpoint Meetings which enable the Learning Facilitator to monitor the progress of the Learners throughout the course and require the Learners to demonstrate they have absorbed the material.
- Certification
- The Certification is the focal point of the entire learning experience and is the destination for the “road map.” All Certification Questions are answered orally by the Learner in a one-on-one session with an Assessor at the conclusion of the course. Certification are typically include over-arching questions which require knowledge from multiple Checkpoints to answer them correctly.
- Learning Facilitator Training*
- Managers’ Assessment – Managers/Facilitators go through the Accountability Performance System as if they were the Learners, including all Checkpoints and the Certification (TIS led experience).
- Implementation Workshop – Upon completion of their Certification, the Facilitators go through a workshop to further explain the learning process and demonstrate the best use of the Accelerated Learning Guide/System. During this training, the Learning Facilitator will also learn how to manage the TIS LMS, enroll learners, edit content, utilize reports and grade online activities.
- Facilitation Resources – The Facilitator’s Guide provides everything needed to implement the Accountability Performance System (APS), facilitate Checkpoint Meetings, and implement/assess Certifications.
